Mélanie Lussier joined Aéro Montréal in October 2014 as the Director, Markets Development for SME & Supply Chain. Prior to joining Aéro Montréal, she held various positions with growing responsibilities in the Supply Chain department at Bombardier Aerospace for 15 years. During her last few years at Bombardier, Mélanie notably developed a lean manufacturing expertise, as she was a key contributor to the Total Value Management initiatives deployed in all Bombardiers’ plants, including Belfast and Wichita. Her extensive work experience in a large corporation, coupled with her understanding of the ever evolving aerospace supply chain reality, provides a refreshing perspective to the diverse group of companies constituting Aéro Montréal.
Her current mandate at Aéro Montréal includes the deployment of various initiatives - such as the MACH initiative - aimed at supporting the development and the internationalization of Québec’s small and medium most dynamic companies. Mélanie has also provided leadership in other aerospace initiatives, including Women in Aerospace – Québec, as part of the central coordination team.
